I Craft Thunderbolts and Summon the Gods: Remember My Name, Shi Jian

[Lighthearted Comedy + Shi Jian and Uncle Jiu Combined + Power Fantasy + Overwhelmingly Invincible + Maoshan + Urban Paranormal]

On his way home from work, Shi Jian saw two old men fighting.

One conjured thunder with his bare hands; the other strode across the Big Dipper.

As a model young citizen, he chose to... crouch by the roadside and watch.

Then those two old geezers moved into his body.

Senior Brother Shi Jian, former commander of the Underworld's Soul-Capturing Bureau, has a temper fiercer than thunder.

His second master, Uncle Jiu, is a master of Maoshan's esoteric arts. His tongue is sharper than the talismans he draws.

The two once fought a magic duel in the Underworld and blew up half a street in the Soul-Capturing Bureau. Now, as punishment, they've been made to possess him and capture ghosts to earn merit.

After hearing what they had to say, Shi Jian would sooner believe someone was trying to use his name in a scam!

That is, until a red-clad vengeful ghost twisted a streetlamp into a pretzel at an abandoned amusement park.

Uncle Jiu urged him to summon a god, but his senior master was quicker. He possessed Shi Jian, formed a hand seal with one hand, and blasted the ghost to pieces with a Lightning Fist.

When the police arrived, Shi Jian didn't bat an eye:

"Officer, let me explain. This is a localized high-energy electrical discharge caused by a static field in a rain cloud."

The police looked at the scorched ground and fell silent.

Meanwhile, a line of text slowly lit up on an app that had never been downloaded to his phone...

"Certified by the Underworld. Welcome, new ghost officer."
