Honkai: As Long as You’re Alive, That’s Good Enough. Dying Works Too!

(Multiple-Avatar Ensemble Cast) (Multiple Female Leads) (A Little Angsty) (Everyone Is Under Pressure, Including the Protagonist) War raged everywhere. Vast clouds of dust, smoke, and smog swirled relentlessly over the planet. Yet not even this oppressive, storm-cloud darkness could stop the most dazzling purple moon beneath it from blooming! As the woman, golden crosses gradually flashing in her eyes, swept her longsword across the chest of the last man, who seemed to have been impatiently awaiting his turn, the vivid blue hyacinth adorning his white suit seemed to proclaim that the staggering figure felt perfect joy at seeing everything reach its final end. As the white-haired figure pulled the young man into a tight embrace, tears shed by her consciousness beneath the corners of her eyes began to corrode the body before her. Looking at the young man’s satisfied smile, she threw her head back and let out a howl of anguish that seemed not to belong to any human. With that cry, everything on the planet began to rupture and reform. As the view pulled farther away, the once-dazzling blue planet was gradually covered by an enormous, perfectly proportioned golden cross. This apocalyptic death mark, like the golden pupils in the girl’s eyes, had its regular diamond shapes etched deep into the planet’s surface. [Honkai has occurred. Signs of life: zero]
