Demon Slayer: I Woke Up to Find My Wife Trying to Kill Me

Kagaya and Zenitsu, with Kagaya reborn; transmigration; Kagaya-centric; no redemption arc; everyone is friendly. (That doesn’t mean no one dies. I just don’t particularly dislike any characters, so I won’t vilify anyone.) Apologies for any out-of-character moments!!! On the first day after Kagaya was reborn in the world of Demon Slayer, he held a letter in his hand. His junior disciple in this world, Zenitsu Agatsuma, was asking if he could come pick him up. Kagaya stared at the name in the letter, identical to that of his beloved from the cultivation world. After a moment’s silence, he went anyway. But during their first mission, that useless junior disciple tried to attack him with a sword while he was asleep. Kagaya pinned him to the bed in an instant. The moment their eyes met, a disturbance in their spiritual bond revealed the truth. Their souls had always shared the same origin. The souls of two fallen chosen ones from the cultivation world had been stolen by this world’s Heavenly Dao, turning them into tools to fill out the plot. And the memories Zenitsu awakened were of the tragic ending in the Demon Slayer world, where he had personally slain Kagaya after he became a demon. He hated him, unaware that the man before him was no longer the senior disciple who would fall into demonic ways. After love and resentment had crossed two lifetimes, their broken souls would finally recognize each other. This time, they would not repeat the same mistakes. Wherever the lightning strikes, there lies the heart’s true destination!
