Amid the snow and wind of Jiuyuan, Lü Bu obtained the Sky Piercer Halberd and became bound to a higher-dimensional being known as the Red Shadow. The Red Shadow told him his fate: kill Ding Yuan, join Dong Zhuo, die at White Gate Tower, and be reviled by history for a thousand years. His fate was maintained by Moyuan, an organization dedicated to correcting history. It considered Lü Bu an anomaly and tried to force him back onto his predetermined path.
Lü Bu refused to accept his fate. Relying on the Sky Piercer Halberd, he cut down the anchors of destiny, gathered loyal and righteous generals, foiled Moyuan's schemes, and swore to tear apart with his own hands the book of fate that recorded everyone's destiny.
The history books would not record Moyuan, nor the war against Heaven.
The history books would only say: At the end of the Han dynasty, there was a man named Lü Bu, from Jiuyuan in Bingzhou. He slew Dong Zhuo, swept across the six directions, pacified the eight lands, and ushered in peace for all generations. The destinies Lü Bu tore apart with his own hands lay scattered across the pages of six volumes, like the snow and wind of Jiuyuan, falling along the road he had traveled and across the world after he was gone.
