My Tough-Guy Roommate Sheds Little Pearls Every Day

Two male leads, with a major identity-reveal scene.

Jian Xingshi, an overworked 996 office drone, got cheated on by his scumbag boyfriend. He didn’t shed a single tear. Instead, he walked away with a hefty breakup payout.

Drunk at a company retreat, he set his sights on Huo Tingyuan, the quiet, tough guy who stood 190 centimeters tall. Hoping to find a sucker to split the rent with, Jian Xingshi casually joked, “Why don’t we move in together? Just pay half the rent.”

The tough guy blushed. “That won’t work. I’m a deep-sea merman Alpha. If my rut isn’t soothed, I could trigger a tsunami.”

Jian Xingshi burst out laughing. “If you were a merman, I’d actually marry you.”

The next day, once he had sobered up, Jian Xingshi found the sofa covered in enormous, flawless pearls.

Meanwhile, the 190-centimeter tough guy was soaking in his bathtub, surrounding him with top-grade sea-salt pheromones. He looked aggrieved. “You said you’d marry me. You can’t take it back.”

Later, the scumbag showed off his new rich-boyfriend with an air of triumph.

Huo Tingyuan unleashed the overwhelming pressure of a top-tier Alpha, and the scumbag dropped to his knees, begging for mercy.

And Jian Xingshi? He was busy collecting the pearls the tough guy dropped while watching melodramatic TV shows, then using them to pay the down payment on a luxury mansion worth tens of millions.
