Heavy Industry 1998: A Bankrupt Factory Crushes the World

In 1998, a wave of restructuring sweeps through state-owned enterprises in Northeast China. Fengtian Heavy Machinery Plant is thirty billion yuan in debt and faces bankruptcy and liquidation.

Fifty thousand veteran workers are about to be thrown out onto the streets, while multinational capital circles like hyenas, waiting to devour the company and destroy the foundations of China's heavy industry.

Huo Zheng, a top industrial chief engineer, is unexpectedly reborn. He takes on the mess and binds himself to the [Heavy Industry Matrix Aura System]!

Production capacity lagging? [Mechanical Ascension] activates, causing the output of World War II-era machine tools to skyrocket and outclass imported five-axis CNC machines!

A technological gap? [Research Epiphany] kicks in, and a technical school graduate drafts plans for a fifth-generation aircraft engine by hand on the spot!

Craftsmanship in decline? With the [Soul of Lu Ban] possessing him, an eighth-grade master machinist hand-grinds nanometer-scale parts, leaving foreign experts dumbfounded!

While Eagleland is still trying to choke China with technology restrictions, Japan is still boasting about its high-end machine tools, and domestic capital is waiting to laugh at them...

Huo Zheng has already led a group of laid-off workers dismissed as "obsolete" to build deep-sea submersibles, stealth strategic bombers, and even planetary mining ships!

The foreign media are utterly dumbfounded: "Didn't they say China couldn't even make special-grade steel? Then how do you explain that ten-thousand-ton nuclear-powered aircraft carrier floating out there?!"

Huo Zheng sneers. "From today on, global industrial supremacy belongs to China!"
