Apocalypse: My Get-Rich-Quick Life with a Younger Fisherman from the Village

I caught up with it in one go. You have to have some snacks on hand when watching, otherwise you will get really hungry just watching the heroine stock up. Let me talk about the point that pricks me the most - the setting of "Canghai Space" understands women's hearts so well. Other apocalyptic books either stock up on arms or medicines, but this one is better and directly gives you an inexhaustible sea. Watching Shen Yu carrying lobsters and king crabs to his house again and again, the cold storage was packed to the brim, and the sense of solidity simply overflowed from the book. I even seriously thought that if I had such a space, the first thing I would do would be to try all my favorite seafood. Just imagining the freedom of "eating what you want" would be enough to relieve stress. Then let's talk about Lu Yu, the young male protagonist. To be honest, at first I thought it was another industrial saccharine sister-brother romance routine, but I didn't expect that the author's writing was quite down-to-earth. Lu Yu was not the type to talk sweetly when he first came up. When he first looked at Shen Yu hoarding seafood, he looked at her like the second fool in the village, and asked seriously, "Sister Shen, have you been brainwashed by a pyramid scheme?" Later, when the extreme cold really came, the whole village was dumbfounded. He carried his bedroll and moved into Shen Yu's yard. He didn't say any nice words, and just said, "I'll show you the cold storage, and you can take care of my food." His energy and down-to-earth work were actually much more moving than those fancy confessions. The author has a good sense of proportion in writing the daily interactions between the two. Shen Yu is not the kind of delicate heroine waiting to be protected. She is a person who has survived seven years in the apocalypse with real swords and guns. She has a ruthless spirit in her bones, but she does not lose the delicacy of a girl. As for Lu Yu, he is young and reckless, but he shows his heart and soul when he sees the right person. The pull between the two people is back and forth, and it will not make people feel that one is paying unilaterally or that one is dragging the other down. The relationship of "I can survive on my own, but it's better with you" is a comfortable read. Of course, if we have to pick faults, the early stages of the story are a bit lengthy. Several chapters were written about the psychological activities of the heroine selling her house and returning to the village, so the pace could be tighter. In addition, when the extreme cold comes, the reaction of the whole village is a bit too "tool-like". Besides coming to ask for food, they are jealous and jealous. If the neighbors can be written in a more three-dimensional way, the story will be more interesting. However, these flaws are not serious flaws for a light-hearted apocalyptic novel, and the overall reading experience is still enjoyable. Finally, I would like to say that what moved me the most about this book was actually the suffocating feeling of Shen Yu's previous life when he died alone in the fourth winter, and the vivid contrast between his rebirth and standing on the beach blowing the wind, watching Lu Yu running out of the courtyard and calling her to eat. At the end of the apocalyptic article, it is still about "living well with someone by my side". Five-star recommendation to all sisters who want to find a warm meal and warm love in the apocalypse.

One of the very nice books.
