Even the Rule-Bound Horrors Fear Me, but My Ex-Husband Still Wants Me Back

[Rule Horror] [Infinite Flow] [Rule-Editing Ability] [Power Couple] [Lighthearted]

Before her divorce papers had even cooled, Jiang Xi was pulled into a Rule Horror scenario and given a unique ability: she could change one character in the rules of each instance.

She couldn’t add or remove a character, and the revised rule applied to everyone, herself included.

While others memorized rules to survive, she hunted for typos to save lives, turning haunted instances into Chinese proofreading exercises.

The dorm supervisor demanded that everyone hand over an eye, so she changed “eye” to “mirror.” The cafeteria only accepted human flesh, so she changed “human” to “pig.” The principal forced students to kneel, so she changed “kneel” to “class.”

The monsters were so furious they spent all night pounding on the doors, while the players followed right behind her, frantically copying her answers.

The biggest headache was that her ex-husband, Pei Du, whom she’d just dumped, had followed her into the instance as a top-ranked national player, constantly trying to die in her place.

Jiang Xi: “We’re divorced.”

Pei Du: “I know. Saving my ex-wife doesn’t break any rules.”

Until the instance’s announcement rang out:

[Before leaving, kill the person you love most.]

Jiang Xi raised her hand and changed “love” to “hate.”

The next second, every ghost in the hospital turned and lunged at Pei Du.
