A Sent-Down Youth? Not Anymore! I Stow Away to Hong Kong to Build a Tycoon's Empire

In 1969, the movement to go up to the mountains and down to the countryside swept across the nation.

In his previous life, Su Zhengyang went to the countryside with the times. After eight years of grinding through hardship, he returned to the city only to hit one obstacle after another, living a life of poverty and misery.

Reborn into a new life, he looks at the assignment slip in his hands and tears it to shreds without hesitation!

"I'm not spending a single day living this backbreaking life bent over the fields!"

Taking his childhood sweetheart and a few brothers with him, Su Zhengyang plunges into the freezing sea and risks his life to smuggle himself to Hong Kong!

At this time, Lei Luo and Lard Boy rule Hong Kong with an iron fist. It is the darkest of eras, but also a golden age when nobodies can rise to become dragons!

No System, no connections. Relying solely on business acumen half a century ahead of its time, Su Zhengyang earns his first fortune selling goods from a street stall in Kowloon Walled City. He opens a plastics factory, speculates in presale flats, makes a star out of a jade maiden actress, and shorts British-owned trading firms!

In just a few years, while his former classmates are still working themselves to the bone in the countryside for a handful of work points, Su Zhengyang has amassed assets worth hundreds of billions and built the global-spanning Su family conglomerate. Even the governor of Hong Kong has to mind his wishes.

More than a decade later, Su Zhengyang returns to China by private jet as the world's richest Chinese man, pouring tens of billions into development. He not only stuns the country's top officials, but leaves the relatives who once looked down on him utterly dumbfounded!
