Retiring in the Supernatural World

A cold, sadistic evil god as the pursuer × a beautiful, long-haired, easygoing man as the pursued Fu Lan has spent six years in the Rules Horror world. For the first three, he frantically cleared instances. For the last three, he read, fished, and retired early, occasionally rescuing people at the town mayor's request. He is unknown in the town, but among the strange creatures and horrors, his name is passed from mouth to mouth. He is an untouchable legend. That is, until an evil god enters an instance in person and lures him into it. As everyone gradually uncovers layer upon layer of the truth, they discover that this is no ordinary player at all. He's a max-level expert forced to get back in the game. At first, everyone thinks he's a gentle, polite beauty. Later, they realize he's actually a fierce, short-tempered beauty who leaves a trail of blood every time he enters an instance and threatens people with a foot on their heads. Why would someone like that quietly stay in a little town for six years? Fu Lan says, “Clearing every instance and retiring afterward is perfectly reasonable, isn't it? Maxing out your favorability with the NPCs is just standard practice, right?” Just when everyone thinks Fu Lan has reached his limit, a six-star instance opens for him. His extreme maneuvers are impossible to replicate or turn into a walkthrough. After watching in awe, everyone sees his roommate, who has been standing behind him, turn into a black blob of slime. The roommate clings to Fu Lan, smearing him with slime from head to toe, then casually sends the instance boss back to the land of the living with a single slap. Fu Lan merely complains that his clothes are dirty and refuses to let him into his room that night. Only after being force-fed a mountain of affection do the viewers realize that what is a terrifying survival game for everyone else is just one big flirting session for these two.
