The Four-Year-Old Poison Prodigy Makes Her Father a Legendary Anti-Japanese General

In 1937, the country was in ruins, and Japanese forces trampled across North China.

Shen Nianci, a modern double PhD in toxicology and veterinary medicine, suddenly found her soul in the body of Shen Luming, the four-year-old daughter of Shen Changqing, a rough soldier.

She opened her eyes to a ruined temple, icy winds, and hunger. Her father was a down-and-out soldier dismissed by a warlord’s army, and all they had were a three-legged old dog and three equally down-and-out uncles. Worse still, a Japanese sweep would arrive tomorrow.

Fortunately, she had brought along a “Herbal Beast-Taming System” that could identify every herb in the world, tame and communicate with all kinds of beasts, and use poison without anyone noticing.

While other four-year-olds cried for their mothers, she identified medicinal plants in the mountains, trained hunting falcons, and prepared poisoned bullets for her father’s old rifle.

Other generals relied on military academies, connections, and loyal troops. Her father relied on a daughter who always “happened” to spot the Japanese army’s weaknesses, “happened” to find lifesaving herbs, and “happened” to tame a pack of war beasts to serve as scouts. She was his lucky star.

From a tiny guerrilla force in the Taihang Mountains to a resistance army that struck fear throughout North China; from an unrespected soldier in a ragtag unit to the “Poison Wolf General” who terrified the Japanese army.

Shen Luming said, “I’m just a good little girl who likes picking mushrooms and talking to animals.”

Japanese military intelligence: “That child... is definitely no ordinary kid!”
