[Infinite Flow] + [Mildly scary] + [A must-read for night owls] + [Survival] + [Ideal for people living alone]

“My name is Su Xing.”

“One night, while I was fast asleep, I got a phone call. The person on the other end said: Something's happened to my mom!!!”

“I forced my eyes open, got up, got dressed, grabbed my keys, locked the door, and went to the elevator.”

“But as luck would have it, the elevator was broken.

I turned and walked into the stairwell,

but unfortunately, the lights in there were broken too!!”

“I grumbled about the property management, then switched on my flashlight and started down.”

“Just as I stepped onto the stairs, a heavy footfall sounded right above my head!!”

“I gave a bitter laugh, thinking there must be someone else as unlucky as me!!”

“Eight floors isn't that high,”

“but that night, it took me half an hour to get down!!!”

“The footsteps above me followed me silently for that whole half hour.”

[But my mom had been dead for a long time.]
