To break the curse, Cheng Yan and Bai ventured together into a remote mountain range forgotten by the world. There they found a long-collapsed shrine and an ancient mountain god on the verge of death, forgotten by everyone. The truth behind the curse came to light: for centuries, the mountain god had grown “hungry” from being forgotten, attaching itself to the Bai bloodline and extending its experience of existence by taking the place of its descendants. It wasn’t malicious. It was just terribly lonely.
But to break the curse, they would have to perform a sacrifice in reverse: not offering up their forgetfulness, but offering up their memories.
It's very interesting to read the introduction, but it turns out that I couldn't stop watching it. It's really interesting. The relationship between Bai and Cheng Yan is very delicate. The writing is good and the plot is gripping. It's not very scary, but the plot progresses pretty well. Overall, I highly recommend reading it, but it should be a short article after reading it/I'm not sure (it's still worth reading, I highly recommend it [Blow Kiss]) It's really sweet
