Warhammer: Bizarre! A Little Charlatan Who Specializes in Sieges

(Word Bearers + Iron Warriors, siege warfare, growth story) When other people transmigrate into the Word Bearers Legion, they spend every day copying holy texts, preaching and brainwashing people everywhere, all vying to become Chaos’s top pyramid-scheme salesman. When it’s Lincoln’s turn to transmigrate, he gives up from the get-go: Why preach? Isn’t digging trenches and building fortifications much better? After getting the chance to study with the Iron Warriors, he copies their entire playbook. No flashy sorcery, just enough artillery to fill the horizon and trenches dug across an entire planet. Lorgar hounds him day after day to write scripture and preach. Nicolas keeps his head down, surveying the fortifications. “I’m busy. I’m pondering the doctrine!” Day after day, everyone in the Legion comes to think he’s completely lost his mind. Unable to stand the Legion’s fanatical cult atmosphere, he takes a group of warriors and runs off to start his own faction. He abandons the doctrines of Chaos and establishes a brand-new warband. Standing beneath his banner and looking at the crushed fortress, Lincoln throws his arms wide and calls out to the world: “Who wants to hear my doctrine?!” The forces of Chaos: ??? How did a perfectly good zealot end up starting a revolution? The greenskins are baffled. “That strong!?” (ʘдʘ╬) Could that tin can be a Primarch!? ୧ ☉□☉ ୨
