Great Tang: I Built an Amusement Park from the Start and Fed Little Sizi

Dongfang Yuan’s farmhouse restaurant somehow overlaps in time and space with the Taiji Palace of the early Tang dynasty every night!

One day, a frail little girl calling herself “Sizi” opens the door and gazes longingly at the ice cream in his hand.

Thinking she’s a child star who wandered off from a film set and hasn’t eaten, Dongfang Yuan immediately brings out fried chicken and ice cream to stuff her full!

The next day, little Sizi returns, leading Li Shimin, who’s dressed in an imperial robe.

Dongfang Yuan grins. “Old Li, you’re really getting into your emperor role!”

To make the little girl smile, Dongfang Yuan cashes in the “antique props” Old Li paid him with and builds the Tang dynasty’s first fantasy amusement park in his backyard!

There are claw machines, carousels, roller coasters, and more!

Before long, the Tang dynasty’s whole vibe has gone completely off the rails.

Cheng Yaojin shamelessly takes a job as a security guard just to get his hands on some spicy strips; the Crown Prince has given up plotting rebellion and is now obsessed with bumper cars; and Princess Changle even blushes as she asks whether he needs a lady boss.

Then one day, Li Shimin brings an army of one hundred thousand to guard the entrance. “My good son-in-law, the Turks have disturbed Sizi while she was riding the roller coaster. Lend me a few drones!”

Dongfang Yuan is stunned. “Holy crap, you’re really not a film crew?!”
