Keep Running: The Godfather of Chinese Animation Is Here, So Show-Offs, Get Out

[Sharp-tongued veteran author + master plagiarist + taking down the fake-sweet + single heroine Yuqi + Running Man variety show]

Shi Jiangnan, the web-fiction godfather Tang Jia Tudou, commands more than a dozen IPs worth tens of billions. Forced by his mother to join the top-tier star variety show Run, Sister and Brother, he immediately runs into Bai Lu, an attention seeker who shamelessly hogs the camera.

Bai Lu puts on a cutesy voice and acts familiar. “Teacher Tudou, I've been your fan for ten years~”

Shi Jiangnan exposes her without mercy. “My first book came out only nine years ago. Did you read the outline in the underworld?”

When she fake-falls on the pressure-point board to make a fuss, he simply steps over her. “Nice prop. The roadblock even screams.” In the name-tag-ripping showdown, she pleads through fake-sweet tears, and he rips her name tag off in one second. “Villains die because they talk too much. Your lines are so long, they're getting in the way of my late-night snack.” He puts every sore loser in their place!

The whole internet thinks the big-shot investor is cold and ruthless, until he and Song Yuqi become a pair of tough bandits, tearing through the competition.

Song Yuqi confidently tosses her ponytail. “Boss Shi, let's team up today. Point at anyone, and I'll rip their tag off!”

Shi Jiangnan hands her a bottle of water he's already opened, pats her head, and grins with lazy arrogance. “Sure thing. Everyone here is fair game today, except you.”

A max-level veteran author takes the entertainment industry by storm, beats down fake-sweet rivals, and spoils a bold, straightforward leading lady rotten!
