This Sect Is Doomed

[Lighthearted Comedy · Cross-Dressing Expert · Everyday Cultivation]

Mo Zhen transmigrated with a simple dream: fly on a sword, roam the world with a blade in hand, marry an immortal maiden, and raise a whole brood of little sword cultivators.

Then he joined the Yunmiao Sect, recognized throughout the cultivation world as the number one sect.

And then he realized he’d been tricked.

The senior disciple who was supposed to welcome him to the Sword Sect was actually Xia Mengdie, the head of the Illusion Sect, in disguise. The Sword Sect’s grand hall was actually the Hall of Illusions. The initiation contract was actually a deed of servitude.

Even more absurdly, his talent for illusion arts was ridiculously good. Whenever he used an illusion, he automatically transformed into a breathtakingly beautiful girl, and his swordsmanship doubled in power in that form.

To learn swordsmanship, Mo Zhen had no choice but to infiltrate the Sword Sect dressed as a girl under the name “Mo Zhenzhen.” But he accidentally barged in on the senior sister, Dongfang Jialan, while she was bathing, and only escaped by acting cute and playing the helpless victim.

And the Yunmiao Sect’s absurdity didn’t stop there:

Sect Leader Liu Tianya was hopelessly bad with directions. Three hundred years ago, he got lost and wandered into the Demon Cult’s sacred hall, where he killed its leader with a single sword strike. Every Sword Sect disciple had a side hustle because sword cultivators were broke. The pills from the Alchemy Sect tasted like stinky socks soaked in stinky tofu. The head of the Formation Sect had spent three hundred years wondering why the grand formation hadn’t collapsed. The magical treasures made by the Artifact Sect had properties so bizarre they were beyond belief...

Looking at this bunch of monsters, Mo Zhen voiced his most heartfelt thought since transmigrating:

“This sect is doomed.”

But the problem was, he seemed unable to leave.

Worse still, he seemed to be enjoying dressing as a girl.
