Criminal Investigation: Unsolvable Cold Cases? My Consultant Can Read the Signs

[Urban + Crime Solving + No System + One Female Lead + Supernatural Arts]

As the youngest criminal investigation captain in Jiangshi's history, Tang Qian has been having a hard time lately.

Unable to withstand the police chief's relentless persuasion, he finally agreed to go on a blind date.

He had planned to just go through the motions, but then he saw the young woman across the table in a Taoist robe, looking solemn and anything but ordinary.

What? You're saying this oddly dressed young woman is a criminal investigation consultant for the police department?

“According to the deceased's birth data, today was not supposed to be his day to die, so he isn't dead yet!”

“With those flirtatious eyes and high, gaunt cheekbones, you can't trust her testimony!”

“Xiao Tang, I read the night sky tonight. Ziwei is clashing with Sha, and a red mist is moving north. There'll be a murder in the northern district!”

“Xiao Tang, I've cast the divination three times today. I'm certain we need to start searching for clues somewhere in the south where there's water!”

The Nanning dismemberment case, a lake mystery, a supernatural elevator murder...

Cold cases can be cracked, and bizarre cases can be solved!

She understands yin and yang, commands the Eight Trigrams, predicts fortune and disaster, and judges good and ill omens!

From then on, the police department's solve rate soared, turning it into a legend in law enforcement. Colleagues came from all over to learn its advanced methods.

Tang Qian has been having a hard time lately.

Does he really have to tell them that their solve rate is so high because they use divination?
