A Flirtation Gone Wrong in the 1980s: The Brooding Officer Desperately Wants a Baby

[Period setting, powerful male lead, sweet romance, secret crush]

“His abs are so hard. I really want to sit on them... I want to leave hickeys on big brother’s Adam’s apple...”

In the Red Star Compound of the 1980s, Lin Suixia, who has lost her memory, blushes bright red as she opens a diary full of scandalous fantasies.

Everyone says she is the spoiled darling of the compound, always pestering the younger brother, Huo Shaoyu.

Huo Shaoyu finds her annoying and pushes her off on his older brother, the factory director Huo Qingzhou, who is eight years her senior. “Big brother, you’re the most levelheaded. Take this burden off my hands for a few days!”

Lin Suixia reads the diary and mistakenly assumes that the “powerful man with abs” in its pages is Huo Qingzhou.

So she decides to carry out her secret-crush wish, step by step, just as planned.

Late at night, she slips into the bed of the Western-style house in a camisole. “Big brother, I’m here to complete my mission...”

The domineering man, usually restrained and cold, with ruthless methods, sees red. Gripping her soft waist, he pins her to the back seat of a bicycle and coaxes her in a husky voice, “Suishui, don’t think you can run after teasing me.”

Later, Huo Shaoyu finally sees the error of his ways and pounds on the door outside, eyes bloodshot. “Big brother, give Suisui back to me!”

Inside, Huo Qingzhou settles the tearful girl on his lap and locks the door. With a low laugh, he replies, “The family is trying for a baby. No visitors allowed.”
