Timid in Journey to the West, Fists Swinging Across the Multiverse

Other cultivators rely on heaven-defying talent and celestial treasures.

Wang Xuan cultivates by taking on the Heavenly Court's outsourced grunt work and using cross-dimensional power to crush his foes.

From the start, he transmigrates to the Slanted Moon and Three Stars Cave. With his pathetic carbon-based lifeform physique, he can barely breathe in a world teeming with innate Daoist bodies. All he can do is serve as a caretaker senior brother to Sun Wukong, who will one day wreak havoc in Heaven.

That is, until he boards the Void Shuttle and begins his journey through the myriad worlds.

In this zombie world, where no laws hold back the chaos and mortals struggle in despair, the meager magic he learned at Fangcun Mountain, once mocked as a joke, becomes the only light piercing the darkness.

In the main world of Journey to the West, he scrapes by as a mortal, treading carefully.

In the zombie world, he clears out the dead zones as a true immortal. In the modern world where the Dao has declined, he sparks the revival of myth. In the high-martial-arts world, he restores the broken martial lineage.

Merit gathers around him, and incense forges his soul. Cultivating as both an immortal and a deity, he builds strength one grain at a time.

When the world's great calamity arrives, with the Buddhas silent and Heaven's gates shut, all the myriad worlds bow to him and proclaim: “Praise the Heavenly Venerable Xuanyang, whose merits subdue demons, the Supreme Great Luo Celestial Immortal, the Dao Lord of Primordial Emptiness and Mystical Response!”
