Eerie Parcel: From the Start, I Sign for an S-Rank Haunt

Lin Qi is the lowest-ranking night-shift sorter at a courier depot, so broke he has to split one packet of instant noodles into two meals.

Then he opens an unmarked parcel, and a weeping rag doll crawls out. The System binds itself to him, and his first delivery task is to drop off a package for his landlord, Liu Daqiang. The doll clings to his back and makes him cry as he works through elementary-school math problems. Five million yuan is deposited into his account, and he has ten minutes to spend it all or the package will be returned to the “Tomb of the Old Gods.”

Lin Qi rushes into a convenience store and buys out the entire place, only to be handcuffed and taken away by the police.

From then on, his life goes haywire. He delivers a bowl of noodles that never runs out, and his coworker can’t stop eating and belching. He delivers a radio that makes people tell the truth, and a black-market dealer publicly confesses to selling fake credentials. He delivers a pair of rule-seeing glasses that reveal the contract lines on everyone’s body.

Every delivery earns a five-star review. The higher his rating, the closer he gets to the truth behind the Old Gods’ contract.

Everyone thinks he’s delivering terrifying parcels. Only he knows he’s delivering right to the world’s doorstep.

“Hello, Old God Express. Please sign for your delivery.”
