Hong Kong Crossover: The Tycoon Behind the Scenes Buys Hongxing from the Start

After transmigrating back to Hong Kong in 1988, Su Chen arrives in remote Sai Kung, takes over a cha chaan teng, and becomes the owner of a small shop.

It is an era of fierce competition and lawlessness, with all sorts of factions crossing paths in the city and trouble arising at every turn.

Seeing the constant street clashes, Su Chen only hopes to run his business in peace and steadily build his wealth.

Just then, his Low-Profile Tycoon System awakens. Daily sign-ins grant him large sums of money, professional security teams, and various high-end business plans.

From that day on, Hong Kong's balance of power quietly changes:

When factions fight over neighborhood territory, Su Chen simply buys up an entire block of shops, leaving the groups that were fighting over it unable to afford the rent.

When rival factions compete for leadership, each offering huge sums, Su Chen injects an enormous amount of capital into the contest, and many factions turn to him to work together.

On the surface, he is merely a gentle cha chaan teng owner who devotes himself to refining his recipes. He often discusses dishes with the gentle Ruan Mei and passes the time chatting with the cultured teacher Lin Jiaxin.

No one knows that he is secretly positioning himself in the capital markets, carefully investing in industry, steadily expanding his business empire, and quietly amassing a fortune worth hundreds of billions.

Su Chen smiles faintly: If something can be settled peacefully with resources, why risk your own neck?
