Five years ago, Shen Yanci was reunited with her wealthy birth family, going from an unknown bit-part actress to the Shen family’s real heiress. She thought she’d finally found a home. Instead, she got slandered, blacklisted, and targeted in a staged car accident.
When she opened her eyes again, she was back on the day of the family reunion banquet. The white dress, the bloodstained scarf, the conveniently broken surveillance cameras: none of it had happened yet. This time, she wouldn’t rush to expose anyone. First, she’d stay alive, then take back what she’d lost, piece by piece.
But she gradually discovers that the people from her past life aren’t all quite as she remembers. Her fiancée, who once watched from the sidelines with cold indifference, starts closing in. The detective investigating the accident repeatedly steps in to protect her. A gentle psychiatrist harbors a secret she can’t reveal. And the fake heiress she ought to hate most, Shen Qingwu, asks her with reddened eyes when they’re alone, “Big sister, are you never going to want me again?”
Shen Yanci doesn’t answer.
They want her love. She just wants her life back first.
Is this novel a hundred queens or pure love?
I think it's pretty good. The relationship is slowly developing and the characters are well developed through dialogue.
Good reading, I like novels with knives [plus one on bookshelf]
