Buffing the Underachievers Gets the Whole Class Into Top Universities

[Modern setting + teacher + System + comeback + face-slapping + no frustration]

On his first day at work, Jiang Wen, a master’s graduate from a prestigious university, is treated like a gofer and assigned the worst-performing class in the school.

All forty-eight students in the class average just twenty-seven points in math, putting them dead last in the grade.

His colleagues wait for him to become a laughingstock, the dean plans to split up the class and push the students out, and the students themselves have already lain flat, waiting for it all to fall apart.

Then he awakens the [Strongest Teacher System]

He sticks on a Focus Card, and the sleepy underachievers sit bolt upright, eyes shining as they open their textbooks.

He applies a Memory Card, and they memorize in twenty minutes the formulas that take others a week.

He uses an Epiphany Card, and students who struggle with certain subjects suddenly make a breakthrough on the spot.

Three days later, at the monthly exams, the school’s worst-performing class breaks into the top three in the grade.

A prize-winning teacher scoffs: “One monthly exam doesn’t prove anything.”

Jiang Wen slaps the results sheet on the table. “Then let’s see what happens next time, and the time after that. Every time.”

From then on, face-slapping never misses a beat, and the comeback never lets up.

They dominate the citywide joint exams, rack up competition gold medals, and produce top scorers in the college entrance exams by the dozen

And all of this is just the beginning, with the first card in his hand.
