The Three Heroes Fight Lü Bu? That’s My Brother-in-Arms!

Three Kingdoms + tall tales + don't take it too seriously

At Hulao Pass, Lü Bu sat astride his horse with his halberd in hand. None of the eighteen allied lords dared to fight him.

A poor county magistrate riding a horse with exposed ribs walked onto the battlefield and said one sentence.

Lü Bu followed him.

That man was Liu Bei. On the surface, he was a humble magistrate who wove mats and sold sandals. In reality, he had something so absurd it defied all reason: if he truly wanted to swear brotherhood with someone, that person couldn't refuse.

It wasn't brainwashing. It wasn't force. His gaze was simply so sincere that the person being sworn in would curse and grumble, yet somehow end up standing obediently to his big brother's left.

Cao Cao was the first to realize something was wrong. Liu Bei had to die. Not because he was strong, but because all the talent in the world was about to be sworn into brotherhood with him.

“Find out who he plans to swear brotherhood with next. Intercept them before they meet Liu Bei.” Cao Cao pressed the military report beneath his teacup. “Stop them first!”

But Cao Cao was one step too late.

Can sincerity conquer the world? The answer is yes. The price is spending your whole life outside a tent, counting wine jars. Even when your voice is hoarse, you keep counting, because you'll never settle the score with the man surnamed Lü.
