Skin and Lanterns

An alternate world, a magical treasure, and the customs of an ancient era.

Hua Buyu, who possesses a magical treasure, saves a badly injured man who has fallen unconscious.

When the man wakes, he gives her a beautiful, delicate lantern as a token of gratitude before leaving.
