Synopsis

[National Fate + History + Contrast Group + No Romance]

“Dragon Nation is a land chosen by heaven. It only has such prime real estate because its people were lucky enough to be born there!”

Reading these outrageous claims online, Lin Yang can only laugh in exasperation.

Chosen by heaven?!

Prime real estate?!

You call a place that’s two-thirds mountains and hills, and has suffered alternating droughts and floods since ancient times, heaven-chosen?!

He fires back by writing “A Rundown of Our Ancestors’ Incredible Defiance of the Odds”

and forcibly broadcasts it on the sky screen across every dynasty!

Yu the Great controls the floods; Li Bing carves through mountains.

Our ancestors risked their lives to turn the land into a bountiful paradise!

When the Three Gorges Dam’s roaring floodgates echo across the dynasties,

and the yield of 2,000 jin per mu from hybrid rice appears in the sky,

online pundits are relentlessly face-slapped, and emperors throughout history go crazy!

Qin Shi Huang sits bolt upright:

“Can everyone in my Great Qin eat a fluffy white steamed bun?!”

Chongzhen clutches a pillar and weeps: “With immortal rice like this, why would I have needed to hang myself? Immortal Lin, please grant me your sacred seeds!”
