My Cold Rival by Day, a Clingy Little Softie by Night

Zhou Yu is the MVP of H University’s volleyball team, a pure-hearted, straight-as-an-arrow guy who stands 198 centimeters tall and has a “villain’s face” that makes people want to call the police.

Lately, he’s been furious.

His new roommate, the popular young star Shen Yi, has an extreme cleanliness obsession and even locks the toilet paper in a combination safe. He’s the ultimate pain in the neck over every little thing!

Every time they clash, Shen Yi’s sharp tongue leaves Zhou Yu speechless. So frustrated, he lies in bed at night practicing military boxing.

Then his childhood friend, a spirit medium, gives him a “Dream Entry Talisman.”

Zhou Yu grins wickedly. “I can’t beat you in real life, but in your dreams, I’m spiking you like a volleyball!”

But when he kicks open the door to Shen Yi’s dream, he’s stunned.

The aloof, imperious perfect idol from the daytime is now trembling in terror as a group of invisible monsters, embodiments of his parents’ controlling nature, frighten him. Seeing Zhou Yu’s villainous face, Shen Yi doesn’t run. Instead, he clings to him like a lifeline, burying his face in Zhou Yu’s arms with red-rimmed eyes. “You finally came to save me...”

Zhou Yu: “???” Damn, how is anyone supposed to resist that?

From then on, Zhou Yu leads a double life: by day, his sharp-tongued roommate gives him a hard time; by night, that same roommate clings to him desperately in his dreams.

Until one day, Shen Yi corners him against the dorm wall, eyes lowered, his voice cool but possessive. “Zhou Yu, does it count if we kissed in a dream?”
