Sky Screen: I Move in with Li Lizhi, and History Goes Off the Rails

[Sky screen livestream] [Li Lizhi] [Tool character] [Urban slice of life] [History explained] [Watched by dynasties] [Lighthearted comedy] [Rewrite history]

Lin Ming was an ordinary author of modern historical fiction. One day, he woke up to find a stunning woman in ancient dress in his bedroom. She introduced herself as Li Lizhi, the eldest princess of the Tang Dynasty. She was refined and proper, but her knowledge was stuck in the Zhenguan era. Even more absurdly, their daily life together, conversations about history, and glimpses of the modern world were being broadcast simultaneously to every dynasty by a mysterious sky screen.

From toothbrushes, electric lights, food delivery, and hospitals to salt and iron, taxation, aristocratic clans, firearms, and maritime trade, every bit of modern knowledge Lin Ming casually mentioned sent shock waves through the likes of Li Shimin, Zhu Yuanzhang, Cao Cao, Ying Zheng, and Liu Che. Tang court officials changed their policies after Li Lizhi learned about the future, while other dynasties frantically compared notes, argued, imitated, and tried to get ahead of one another. Lin Ming only wanted to live a quiet life, but he was forced to become the “greatest consultant to the dynasties from the sidelines.”
