Great Ming: Maxing Out My Traits, I Have the Chongzhen Emperor Begging Me to Take the Throne

In the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, the Rebel King captures the capital, and the Manchus batter at the passes.

Civil and military officials line up to serve the enemy as their masters. The Chongzhen Emperor, utterly despairing, heads for the crooked tree on Coal Hill.

At this darkest hour, when the nation faces extinction, the mad prince Zhu Ciheng, imprisoned in the Imperial Prison, awakens the [All Things Attribute System]!

[Ding! Give death-row prisoners in the Imperial Prison the “Bloodthirsty” and “Heavy Armor Mastery” attributes to gain three thousand heavily armored death soldiers!]

[Ding! Give an old matchlock the “No Misfires” and “Double Fire Rate” attributes to create a Ming Dynasty Gatling gun!]

[Ding! Give a rotting wooden ship the “Steel Keel” and “Cuban Power” attributes to gain an invincible ironclad fleet!]

That very night, blood runs through the Forbidden City.

Zhu Ciheng leads three thousand death soldiers through the inner city and cuts down the white silk cord Chongzhen is using to hang himself.

“Father, if civil officials have ruined the country, then we’ll kill them all and replace them with our own people!”

Seeing his son, murderous and hacking the entire court into a bloody mess, Chongzhen is dumbstruck and immediately writes an edict transferring the throne.

“Ciheng, put down the blade! I’ll abdicate right now. The Ming is yours!”

A few years later, Ming ironclads bombard the Thames, while rapid-fire matchlocks pierce through Siberia. The whole world trembles.

Zhu Ciheng: “I am the state. Wherever the sun and moon shine, all is Ming territory!”
