The Pretty Senior Wants to Devour Me

On my first day at the new school, Jiang Wangshu, the famously gentle upperclasswoman and student council president, goes out of her way to look after me. She remembers that I don’t eat cilantro, makes me homemade hand cream, and finds a different excuse to show up beside me every day. I think it’s just an upperclasswoman’s care for a younger student, until I notice that sometimes her gaze turns deep and dark, as if she’s hiding a hungry beast. Even stranger, whenever I get hurt and start bleeding, she’s astonishingly quick to hand me a bandage. Her beautiful eyes linger on my wound, and her throat bobs slightly, as though she’s swallowing something. Is she naturally gentle, or does she have another reason for getting close to me?
