Known throughout the world of supernatural folklore as an "insulator," Qidiao Lian has such an overpowering abundance of yang energy that she can sleep in a cemetery, get bitten by bugs in a haunted house, and go twenty years without encountering a single ghost.
Just as she was planning to retire and live an ordinary life, a game called A Thousand Nightmares: Dreams of a Floating Life arrived like true love and gave her the life she'd always dreamed of.
"I'm a law-abiding citizen."
Her grin stretched from ear to ear as the knife in her hand spun so fast it blurred.
A rotting wedding dress danced in the mirror. Lanterns made of human skin lit a headless alley. Vicious ghosts shrieked in her ear.
Qidiao Lian waved a hand, pulled out a scratch-off ticket, and smiled ingratiatingly.
"Want to scratch one? There's a surprise!"
For the first time, the ghosts in the game got a taste of what it was like to be "played."
If you can't accept the following, feel free to leave:
1. No CP, no official pairing. The main cast is all women, with no men. The antagonists include both women and men, but they're all dead.
2. The female lead grows over time. At first, she's rather arrogant and conceited.
3. I have my own rhythm and style of writing. I don't accept malicious nitpicking.
4. The female lead isn't genuinely kind and perfect, and her teammates aren't all good people either. They're all ordinary people. There's no deifying or demonizing anyone, and so on.
5. The author likes describing action, expressions, and surroundings, so there'll be plenty of that in the story. Readers who like sparse, bare-bones descriptions will find it tiring, so I don't recommend my work to them.
If I give one star less, I'm afraid I'll stop updating. I swear it was not because I was too lazy to read the last book, but because I found that the world view was too big, and the previous text did not match the later text, and I was afraid that the content would not meet my expectations. I will definitely continue to read it when I hone it more!
No need to say anything else, A Yu's book is still so plump [lick screen]
