The Female Sniper Goes to the War of Resistance, Taking Out the Invaders with Every Shot

[Female special forces soldier + hardcore sniping + strong heroine + powerful partnership] Xi Zhaoxue, a modern-day ace sniper, transmigrates into the years of resistance against Japan and becomes a delicate female clerk, relegated to the rear to write up rosters. Everyone thinks women on the battlefield are a liability. But when enemy machine-gun fire pins down the frontline trenches, she picks up an old Hanyang rifle and blows the enemy commander away with a shot from eight hundred meters. Wind direction, temperature, and bullet drop are all calculated with mechanical precision in her mind. She uses an old-fashioned rifle to derail a Japanese military train, and disappears into a grassy ghillie suit on a mountain ridge in the rain and darkness. She trains a frail nurse to become a battlefield spotter, and turns oppressed peasant women into the cutting edge of heavy firepower. The Japanese Army’s Kurofuji Bureau offers a panicked bounty: “Capture the Ghost alive. We need to study the source of her tactics!” Xi Zhaoxue works the bolt behind her scope, her gaze icy. “Want to catch me? Get your neck out of my line of fire first.”
