Rejecting the Medical Rat Race, I Drop Out to Join the Special Forces

In his previous life, Shen Yan was a top medical PhD who worked nonstop for 36 hours before collapsing and dying in an emergency room corridor.

Reborn as a college freshman, he faced an endless rat race for grades, papers, and promotions...

Shen Yan ripped up his books in fury. “Whoever wants to be a med student can have it. I’m joining the army!”

The moment he enlisted, he bonded with the [Dual Medical and Martial Arts System]!

[Complete a five-kilometer run in full gear. Reward: God-tier Battlefield Hemostasis!]

[Complete a high-difficulty craniotomy. Reward: Master-Level Sniping Expertise!]

And so, a monster emerged from the recruit company.

He ranked first in the entire army by a mile in hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship, and individual tactics, leaving veteran special forces soldiers in tears.

During an exercise, and in battlefield emergencies, he could snatch lives from Death’s grasp with a single scalpel, stunning the military region’s commanding officers!

Years later, the cutthroat advisor who had once driven him to his death and his status-obsessed classmates were desperate to get into the military region’s general hospital to boost their résumés.

But at the army commendation ceremony, they were horrified to discover that the man revered by military commanders and admired by the global medical community as “the army’s strongest special forces champion and specially appointed master physician” was none other than Shen Yan, the very man who had dropped out to become an ordinary soldier!
