My Backyard Leads to the Tang Dynasty, and I Find Little Sizi from the Start

Lin Yan runs a countryside guesthouse on the outskirts of town, and the wooden door in his backyard unexpectedly opens into the imperial palace of the Tang Dynasty!

One day, a sickly little girl in traditional Han clothing stumbles through the door and calls out for food in a babyish voice.

Lin Yan hands her a bottle of AD Calcium milk and some fever medicine. He wins over the little foodie and, more importantly, pulls Princess Jinyang, little Sizi, back from the brink of death, saving her from the early end she met in history!

Little Sizi is stunned. “The Immortal Brother’s heavenly realm is so much fun!”

Later, when Sizi returns to the Tang Dynasty with glass cups and anti-inflammatory medicine and cures Empress Zhangsun, Li Er goes completely wild!

He follows her through the door and, upon seeing modern lights, cars, and potatoes that yield a thousand jin per mu, his knees buckle on the spot.

To get his hands on “heavenly treasures,” Li Shimin, the emperor for the ages, takes off his imperial robes and furiously washes dishes in the kitchen.

For two bottles of Erguotou, Cheng Yaojin chops firewood in the courtyard every day.

Zhangsun Wuji clutches a tablet, binge-watching documentaries and shouting that the immortals’ arts are wonderful!

Meanwhile, Lin Yan enjoys life as the little princess’s “immortal dad” and casually guides the Tang Dynasty to sweep the globe, creating a true empire on which the sun never sets!
