I’m the Boss of the Myriad Realms, Collecting Rent Without Lifting a Finger

Other people bind themselves to a System to defy fate and change their lives. The protagonist binds himself to a System and says, "You're keeping me from lying flat." He threatens to kill himself to force the System to reveal a bug, then becomes a hands-off boss. The chosen ones of fortune from every universe are his tenants, and he lies flat while collecting rent, turning every multiverse power-fantasy comeback story into the laid-back daily life of a landlord.
