I Saved the Princess on the Day Her Kingdom Fell and Became the Great Ming’s Co-Prince

A chance encounter sent Li Zheng transmigrating to the crumbling Ming dynasty.

On the day he arrived, Chongzhen raised his sword to kill Princess Changping, Zhu Meichuo, while the capital descended into chaos as the city fell.

At the critical moment, Li Zheng saved the princess. After the two married amid the turmoil, he placed his wife on the Ming throne and was himself granted the unprecedented title of Prince Who Stands Shoulder to Shoulder with the Emperor. With military and political power in his hands, he reformed the government and pacified the people at home, drove out the Tartars and Later Jin beyond the passes, and repelled the expanding Western colonial powers abroad. He developed industry and opened up overseas territories, leading the battered Ming dynasty to defy the odds, turn the tables, and rule the world, keeping the nation prosperous for generations to come.
