The Maid’s First Lessons 2

At the Xishan Villa, the beauty Zhao Yan takes in a badly injured nobleman who has lost his memory and coaxes him into becoming her husband and bedmate. He is refined and noble in appearance, yet innocent and stubborn at heart. His thoughts and affections are fixed entirely on her. Every night, he plays coy and acts vulnerable, hopelessly infatuated and lost in love, determined to make her his true wife. But Zhao Yan has a tangled past. Xue Yunheng, her nominal elder brother in the capital, is deeply in love with her, and a host of old acquaintances remain entangled in her life. With the Huazhao Palace examination fast approaching, she doesn’t dare give him her heart. She treats Pei Qian as a warm body to keep her company and stave off loneliness in the mountains, teasing him and stirring his desire, then stopping just short every time and leaving him burning with frustration. When trouble erupts, Xue Yunheng, who has been longing for her, rushes to Xishan. His carriage breaks down, stranding him in a small town. Her amnesiac husband happens to be down the mountain shopping for supplies, and the two men, who should never have crossed paths, unexpectedly meet at a teahouse and hit it off. On one side is the devoted, gentle man in her bed. On the other is an old flame consumed by possessiveness. See how this shamelessly love-hungry girl finds her way out of the mess, one step at a time.
