The Military Intelligence Bureau's Good-for-Nothing: Infiltrating Enemy Ranks as a Japanese Spy

“The Beiping Squad was wiped out, and you’re the only one who survived. Lin Sanshi must have colluded with the Japanese!” The Juntong agents crowd around to mock and sneer at him.

“Cowardly and mediocre. Send him to Shanghai to coast through life. He won’t cause the slightest trouble.” His Juntong superior casually throws him away.

Ito Kenta expresses his approval. “Sato Shi is honest and dependable. From now on, he can stay at the Meiji Bureau and work for me.”

Matsumoto Keiko watches him warily. “This man is useless in every way, yet he always comes through unscathed whenever he’s in danger. Something’s definitely off.”

No one knows that this pathetic-looking man has a ten-meter mind-reading ability. He voluntarily changes his nationality to Japanese, takes on a military rank, and plays the pig to eat the tiger as he infiltrates enemy territory. In public, he bows his head and serves as a Japanese lackey. In private, he frantically passes along intelligence, playing the Juntong, the Japanese military, and the underground party against one another. In these turbulent times, he quietly serves as a deadly hidden nail in the enemy’s side.
