Honghuang: Seeking Death With All My Heart, Deified for All Eternity

Shen Xin transmigrates to the Investiture of the Gods era. As a Sage appointed by the Heavenly Dao to fill its gaps, all he has to do is die heroically to be listed on the Investiture of the Gods and secure his place as a Sage. To get himself listed, he lashes out at the ministers in the golden hall, curses King Zhou, and writes a seditious poem at the Meridian Gate, begging to be executed. But to his utter surprise, every outrageous thing he says exposes the court's ills, while his decision to give away his entire fortune to feed disaster victims is hailed by the court officials and people across the realm as the epitome of righteousness. Everyone fights to protect him, and the entire nation praises him. The man who longs to die instead becomes the last pillar of Yin Shang, moving ever farther from the Sagehood he hoped to attain!
