Ruling the Showa Era: A Financial Tycoon in Public, Secretly Stripping Japan Bare

In 1955, Lu Xiuyuan transmigrates to Hokkaido, Japan, and becomes a destitute orphan.

Japan is now flourishing wildly on the postwar boom, while his homeland across the ocean lies in ruins and needs rebuilding.

Looking at the wealth overflowing from the Showa era, Lu Xiuyuan gives a cold laugh and decides to become a giant Far Eastern mosquito, feeding voraciously on the island nation's lifeblood!

Short on money? He gets involved with the yakuza and swallows up old conglomerates, crushing Mitsubishi and Mitsui beneath his heel to build the Kazama conglomerate, a power that rules Asia!

Need technology? He spends a fortune bribing senior U.S. military officials, then bundles up aircraft carrier blueprints and advanced machine tools and smuggles them back to his homeland overnight!

In Japanese eyes, he is a dashing god of finance, surrounded by conglomerate heiresses and beloved pop idols.

In the eyes of the U.S. military, he is an omnipotent sugar daddy with connections everywhere.

Yet no one knows that this Tokyo godfather, feared by Japan's political and business circles, is secretly his homeland's top agent!

“Make money from the Japanese, date Japanese women, take Japan's top-secret technology, and build our mighty nation!”

Years later, when the great power of the East sends its aircraft carrier fleet on patrol across the seas, Japan finally realizes in horror that it has already been fleeced down to a bald sheep!
