Great Qin: From the Start, I Execute Zhao Gao and Build an Unrivaled Empire

I transmigrated into the most disastrously inept ruler in history, the Second Qin Emperor, Hu Hai! Other people transmigrate as crown princes or young nobles. I got dropped straight into hell mode from the start: the treacherous Zhao Gao is right there plotting to usurp the throne, Chen Sheng and Wu Guang are already proclaiming, “Are kings and generals born to their stations?” Not a single court official treats me like a person, and in a few days I’ll be forced to kill myself. The Great Qin is doomed! That’s it? You think I’ll just wait around to die? Dream on! First, I’ll chop off Zhao Gao’s dog head and use it to raise the banner! Deer-for-horses, my ass. I’ll give that deer a good old-fashioned physical removal! Second, I’ll get Meng Tian and Meng Yi out of prison. Sorry, I know my history books. I’ve got future knowledge on my side. If I say you’re loyal ministers, then loyal ministers you are! Third, reform the government, train the army, and strengthen the country. The remnants of the Six Kingdoms want to restore their realms? Xiang Yu and Liu Bang want to cause trouble? Sorry, the script has changed. Hu Hai is in charge now! Kill corrupt ministers, recruit famous generals, put down rebellions, build infrastructure… The whole court goes from “His Majesty’s gone mad” to “His Majesty’s actually pretty great.” Who says Hu Hai is destined to lose the empire? In this life, I’ll defy fate and secure the Qin dynasty for good, holding onto this empire through the ages!
