The Great Sage Cherishes Jiangzhu, While Daiyu Is the Apple of His Eye

Everyone says Lin Daiyu was fated to die young, her tears spent before she returned to dust, unable to escape the tragedy of the Red Chamber.

Everyone pities her frailty. Everyone tells her to accept her fate.

Until the day thunder split the mortal world. The Great Sage Equal to Heaven, who had once wreaked havoc in the heavens and subdued countless demons, shattered the Jia household’s illusions with a single kick and landed in her desolate Xiaoxiang Pavilion.

He fears neither the gods and Buddhas above nor the laws of the heavens.

But when he sees Miss Lin weeping by the window, the defiant Stone Monkey, Equal to Heaven, reins in every trace of his ferocity, not daring to disturb her in the slightest.

She says, “My fate is decided by Heaven, not by me.”

He roars, “Your fate is decided by me, not Heaven! If Heaven wants you dead, I’ll tear Heaven down.”

The rites and rules of the mortal world cannot cage her, and the fate decreed by the heavens cannot cage him.

A tender, fragile Crimson Pearl immortal grass, and a proud, solitary immortal born of stone.
