Alternate history + multiple heroines + Mount & Blade-style System + empress + conquest
Zhang Feng transmigrates into this world and discovers that he has become a minor county magistrate about to take office at the border.
The good news: he has awakened the Ironclad Warriors System, a Mount & Blade-style game. Kill enemies to earn points and recruit famed generals, and marrying a female warrior increases his strength.
The bad news: this world has just lived through a wish-fulfillment romance aimed at women. The late emperor and empress had a passionate love affair, full of melodramatic twists: you love her, she loves him, she doesn’t love me. Then they all “lived happily ever after.”
The story has reached its happy ending, but what about the realm? The people are suffering, enemies surround the borders, the court officials only know how to fight over power, and the world is rife with brainless, fake-person antics.
Years later, the Grand Empress Dowager joins forces with the officials to force the empress to marry her grandnephew, so they can control the Great Jing. The empress reveals that she already has someone in her heart: a county magistrate. The officials burst out laughing. A county magistrate is a nobody. Then they look at the map and fall silent:
The Great Jing has nine provinces. How can one county command a million troops, dozens of great generals, and stretch across eight provinces?
Zhang Feng: “Hey! They’re just a few constables and bailiffs. Nothing worth mentioning!”
Remember to arrange for the modeling of Hua Mulan 😏 to be exciting
A rare novel about the armored warrior system 🤦
