The Seventh Exception

[Rules-based horror + overwhelming intelligence + no female lead]

Late-stage lung cancer, with only six months to live.

Lin Mo was waiting for the Grim Reaper, but never expected to encounter a rules-based horror game first.

As the Dragon Kingdom's tenth Chosen One, he was thrown into the three-star instance “Midnight Library.”

Others treated the rules like a sacred guide to survival, cowering and trembling in corners.

Lin Mo pulled out a little notebook and started experimenting:

“Rule Three? Fake. I can turn around and nothing happens.”

“Rule Five? Half true, half false. The bell is a death sentence.”

Seven rules, seven traps.

While everyone else was at the mercy of the rules, he became the exception beyond them: the seventh exception.
