I Opened a Desert Farm in the City

Feng Cheng inherits his grandfather’s old general store, then finds himself trapped by debt, his younger sister’s grave illness, and loan sharks. In his darkest hour, he discovers that the wooden door in the backyard leads to another world: the Endless Sea of Sand. Inside, he gains lordly privileges, including a difference in the flow of time, a spirit spring, techniques for improving sandy soil, and seeds for magical desert plants.

To everyone else, the dilapidated general store looks useless. In truth, it’s a gateway to a world rich in trillions’ worth of resources. Driven to desperation in the real world, Feng Cheng enters the sand sea and grows a lifesaving medicinal herb. In a single night, he pays off the medical bills, and the wealthy families and experts who once doubted him come begging to work with him.
