Douluo Dalu: The Twin Light-and-Dark Sacred Dragons

Long Tian, the blacksmith’s son from Starfall Town, awakens his Martial Soul at the age of six and reveals Twin Martial Souls: the Radiant Sacred Dragon and the Shadow Sacred Dragon. His Innate Soul Power is at the maximum level, shaking the region.

Light and darkness, the two most extreme forces in the world, dwell within the body of a single six-year-old child. This is a gift from heaven, but also a blade hanging over his head. The Spirit Hall officials and academy instructors all warn him: light and darkness clash. If they fall out of balance, he will suffer backlash. At best, his Martial Souls will be crippled; at worst, he will be torn to pieces.

But Long Tian refuses to accept his fate. He leaves home alone and enters the junior Soul Master Academy in Bluestone Town, starting at the very bottom in Class C. Faced with taunts from the geniuses in Class B, the Spirit Hall’s covert surveillance, and the two forces within him clashing day and night, he has only one path ahead:

Make both light and darkness submit to him.

Golden and silver dragons coil around his dantian, and their roars begin to echo through the nine heavens. When Long Tian first unleashes light and darkness together on the arena during the monthly assessment, everyone sees a dragon unlike any they have ever known.

When the Dragon Emperor appears, all dragons bow. Above the nine heavens, I alone reign supreme.
