Ashen Realm 2: Twin Sparks

The global horror game Ashen Realm descended upon the world seven years ago. Lu Jin, once the unrivaled powerhouse at the top of the server’s combat rankings, and Shen Que, an F-rank support player who had long been looked down on by everyone and considered dead weight, became the two most wanted criminals in all of Ashen Realm overnight. Hunted and surrounded by the entire world, they had nowhere left to turn. Everyone mocked the fallen powerhouse and the useless burden holding him back, but no one knew the truth beneath layer upon layer of disguise. The seemingly frail and useless F-rank support player was no ordinary player. He was the embodiment of Ashen Realm’s very essence, an ancient ruler who had slept for ten thousand years, gazing down upon the world. He had lain dormant for ages, only to awaken for one person. No one knew that the [Symbiotic Link] binding the two together in life and death was never a fortuitous accident brought about by a dungeon. They had once been peerless overlords atop the divine altar, and an obscure, lowly support player. Their identities were worlds apart, and their circumstances utterly different.
