Great Song: The Hundred Beauties Illustrated, Meeting Bai Suzhen from the Start

Wang Xuan transmigrates to Great Song, studies hard for ten years, places third in the palace examinations, and is sent to Qiantang to serve as a humble county magistrate.

He thinks he's in a period drama about the ancient bureaucracy, until he saves a woman named Yanzhi from jumping off a cliff and sees a stunning beauty named Bai Suzhen illegally casting spells on West Lake...

"Ding! The Hundred Beauties Compendium has awakened. Complete an entry to earn rewards, and you can even confer divine titles!"

Looking at demons, gods, and Buddhas flying all over the sky, Wang Xuan gives a cold laugh and smacks his courtroom block. The fortune of Great Song surges skyward, and all magic is nullified!

"What demon stands before my court, casting spells without a license in Qiantang?"

"Bai Suzhen, flooding the waters of Jinshan violates Great Song's criminal code. I sentence you to serve at this county office for a hundred years!"

"Nie Xiaoqian, I have overturned your wrongful conviction. From now on, you'll be the county office's personal maid!"

"Third Holy Mother, if Heaven can't handle a wrongful case, then Great Song's laws will!"

From county magistrate of Qiantang to the Human Emperor of Great Song, Wang Xuan gathers the fortune of the nine provinces in his mortal official's body and claims every beauty under heaven.

When the gods and Buddhas try to bring down Heaven's punishment, Wang Xuan points his sword at the Celestial Court: "From now on, the Three Realms are under the rule of humanity!"
