Bro, If You Keep Being Such a Hopeless Romantic, I’ll Run Off with the Blonde

Chen Jingqing is trapped in a time loop, watching his older brother die right before his eyes five times. To break the loop, he goes to stay by his brother's side. But Tan Jinyan, his older brother, has a violent father and a mother who ran away with her younger son. Having grown up this way, Tan Jinyan is a hopeless romantic whose daily life revolves around dating and satisfying his partner's every whim. This drives a wedge between the brothers. To solve the problem once and for all, Chen Jingqing takes charge of his own love life and finds himself a blond boyfriend. This blond is not only the young heir of one of Beijing's most powerful families, but also the hopeless romantic Tan Jinyan looks down on most. He's also grown up with Chen Jingqing, trailing after him every day and calling him “wife.” When Tan Jinyan hears the news, his world goes dark. He stops dating altogether. Today, he claims it's cold and insists on sleeping between the two of them. Tomorrow, he says he's afraid of the dark and brings his bedding to where his little brother is sleeping. His daily motto: “If I don't rely on my little brother, that means he's useless. My little brother is so wonderful, why would I need anyone else?” But even so, Chen Jingqing still witnesses his brother's sixth death before his eyes. Covered in blood and lying across Chen Jingqing's lap, Tan Jinyan smiles with quiet acceptance. “You fool, don't forget: in this world, your big brother will always protect you.” “We said we'd go home together, but once again, your big brother won't make it back.” Chen Jingqing refuses to accept this. He struggles through the loop again and again, until his mind finally breaks and the truth comes to light. Tan Jinyan: “If you asked me what my greatest regret in life is, I'd say it's that I never made my little brother come to terms with losing me.” The young heir: “What a shame. I didn't get to make A Jing the one on top the first time!” Tan Jinyan: “You're ruining the mood. Get him out of here!”
